Labor Day Weekend!

We had the great pleasure of spending Labor Day weekend with our family and friends in Utah. It was so nice to get away from the craziness of Las Vegas! There were so many great things that happened over the weekend I don't know how to write it all down! So of course I will make a list:

Trip Highlights Include:
1. Family babyshower that Rob's sisters planned! It was so wonderful! Thank you to everyone that helped with the shower and drove long distance to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our little girls! We love you all! Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts!
2. Family birthday party dinner at the Timbermine. For the last few years we have been celebrating everyone's birthdays over Labor Day weekend because it is too hard to get together for each person individually. So we usually go out to dinner as adults and give each other gifts! This year it was at this very interesting place called the Timbermine! Good steak.
3. Meeting our new niece baby Wren Jensen for the first time. She was born on June 29. She is just so precious- we love her so much and could not stop holding her! (See pictures below)
4. Sitting outside in the Jensen's backyard enjoying a perfect summer afternoon and playing ball with our nephews!
5. Driving up to Utah and back with my sister Melanie- going through baby name books.
6. Eating crepes with the Barratt's in Park City. I think I ate more than my share of them! So good!
7. Having lunch with Scott, Carrie and the girls! They are all growing up so fast! We miss you tons!
8. Seeing my brother Jared and his girlfriend Sarah who drove from Boise to come to our family baby shower!

Those are just a few things! The whole weekend was great and we can't wait to see everyone again soon! Lots of pictures posted below!

Our Story...

Rob and I met in November of 2002 in the financial services office at BYU. After a very akward introduction, which involved me introducing myself in the third person, Rob called and asked me out. After a pretty amazing first date (its a long story-some other time), I confidently told Rob "that once he dated me he would never want to date anyone else." I really had no idea at that point that it was going to work out so well. We dated for the next five months and then one beautiful night on a bridge at Sundance resort, Rob and I got engaged. We were married four months later on August 16, 2003 in the Las Vegas, NV temple. And we have been living happily ever after since...
