Happy St. Patrick's Day! A little late!

Our little munchkins on St. Patty's Day! Believe me these girls get lots of kisses everyday! They move so much now that it is hard to get a picture of them together or separate! I also had to post a picture of their cute socks that look like ballerina slippers...I have two pairs in just about every color! I love them!

Happy Birthday Henry!

I wish I had more recent photos of Henry! But the crazy kid is always running around or running away from the camera! I just wanted to wish my sweet nephew a Happy 3rd Birthday! He was born on Rob's birthday March 10th! He was the cutest baby! These pictures are the only time that I can remember this kid laying or sitting still! I absolutely love his energy and he has the best blond curly hair! We love you! Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday Jami!

Happy Birthday Jami! Rob's sister Jami turned 31 on March 11, 2008! We just love her so very much! She makes every family party more enjoyable! She is silly, smart, creative, talented, and just so awesome! We hope that you had a wonderful birthday! Happy Birthday Jiggs! I promise you do not look a day over 21!

Proof.

I have been meaning to post these pictures of the girls sleeping for some time now. Here is the proof that my babies love each other. They sleep this way every night! Touching heads and trying to hold hands. They do not get the concept of holding hands very well, but they do manage to touch each other. It is the sweetest thing! If only they would stay little forever and keep up this bedtime ritual. Unfortunately, they are growing like weeds, and the bedtime position is starting to become uncomfortable for them. I think they will be transitioned into separate cribs very soon! So sad! I am very worried that they will not sleep as well once they are separated! And I am really loving my full nights sleep!

Happy Birthday Rob

Emma wanting to eat her Daddy's cake!

On Monday, March 10, 2008 we celebrated Rob's 27th birthday! We surprised him with a small family party at my parent's house! My grandparents from Idaho were in town to help us usher him into another year of life. Since we were not in Utah to partake of Grandma Luella's german chocolate cake, I had to go buy a german chocolate cake from Sam's Club. It was really yummy..but not quite the cake that Grandma makes!

I love you Rob! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and another great year! You are the best thing that has ever happen to me! Without you, I would not know the meaning of true love. Thank you for our wonderful daughters, and being the man that you are. Happy Happy Birthday to you!

Blessing the babies

On Sunday, February 17, 2008, we dressed our babies in their first significant white dress and took them to church to be blessed. It was such a special experience to see our sweet babies encircled by their loved ones, and given a special blessing. Rob did such a great job! He gave them each their own special blessing, considering their own sweet spirits. I was so touched by how proud he was to show them off to everyone in the congregation. It is a sweet thing to see the man that you love turn into such a great father.

We were very fortunate to have almost all of Rob's family (Turmans-we missed you!) in town to witness the girls on their big day. We truly appreciate everyone traveling so far to come and spend time with us! Thank you! What a fun weekend! We love you all! And a special thanks to my family who helped me out all week with preparations! I can always count on you!

Check out the slide show to see pictures of the girls!

Photo shoot.

Four generations of hands! My grandmother, mother, me, and the twins!

Thank You!

So today, after three months of sitting home on Sunday listening to church music with the girls, we took the girls to Sacrament meeting! They were angels! Just sat in their car seats sleeping! It was so nice to be back. I have to admit I felt like a celebrity being back! After being gone so long everyone wanted to talk to us and see the babies! We were surrounded! Maybe I should have long absences more often! Just kidding! I feel so blessed to belong to such a great ward. Everyone has gone out of their way to check on us, bring us meals, and come see us! Thank you! Your support, love, and friendship means the world to us!

sweet times.

The following is a short list of sweet things that I never want to forget! I love being a mom!

1. Watching the girls sleep. They will not sleep unless they are touching heads and holding hands. It is the most precious thing I have ever witnessed! I will start them separate in their crib, and they will move until they are touching.
2. The smell of clean babies fresh from the bath!
3. The first time Camden found my hair and pulled it! It hurt but the look on her face was priceless! She looked like she just won the lottery!
4. Watching the girls hold their heads up during tummy time. They are so proud of themselves, they are usually smiling from ear to ear.
5. Emma's sweet dimples.
6. The fact that the girls wait until Rob gets home from work to have poopy diapers! They get so excited that it just all comes out! (Sorry, that is a little gross!) Makes me laugh everyday!
7. The first time Camden slept through the night! (I am happy to report that she has slept through the night 6 days in a row!) The first time it scared me to death! I checked on her so many times. Emma is only waking up once, and last night she slept from 9:30-5:00am! We are so happy!
8. The first time Emma put her hands around my neck and snuggled in under my chin. I cried it was so sweet.

I know there are more things, but those moments have been on my mind. I needed to write them down before they were forgotten! Please check out the new pictures below! They are growing up to fast! They are starting to grow out of their newborn clothes....so sad!

Our Story...

Rob and I met in November of 2002 in the financial services office at BYU. After a very akward introduction, which involved me introducing myself in the third person, Rob called and asked me out. After a pretty amazing first date (its a long story-some other time), I confidently told Rob "that once he dated me he would never want to date anyone else." I really had no idea at that point that it was going to work out so well. We dated for the next five months and then one beautiful night on a bridge at Sundance resort, Rob and I got engaged. We were married four months later on August 16, 2003 in the Las Vegas, NV temple. And we have been living happily ever after since...
